Klemtu is a small First Nations community in the heart of BC's Great Bear Rainforest, the last intact temperate rainforest in the world. Tourism Dock
The Klemtu dock provides services to vessels large and small traveling the Inside Passage. Klemtu is situated on a sheltered harbour safe from inclement weather. A fuel dock and new float ensure that your vessel is safe while you take Big House tour, a eco-cultural day tour, or stock up on groceries. As a BC coastal community on one of the most traveled and famous waterways in the world, Klemtu is the only stop between Bella Bella and Prince Rupert with fuel and their is also fresh water for your convenience.
Kitasoo Grocery Store and Cafe
The Kitasoo Band Store is a well stocked grocery store, where you can resupply for your stay in Klemtu or before you continue on your journey. The store's hours are from 10am till 5 pm 7 days a week during the summer season.
The Kitasoo Cafe is open 6 days a week (closed Sundays) from 9am till 6pm and serves a selection of sandwiches and burgers at reasonable prices.
